Rays (EP), Mas Da Don’s debut project is a blend of gritty Brooklyn gritty hip-hop and smoother R&B elements. The young Long Island born artist jumped feet-first into the New York hip-hop scene. The EP employed production from Chuck Strangers, to P.Soul, and collaborations with Dyemond Lewis, JAB47, and Chelsea Reject for a strong East Coast influence the listener can hear consistently throughout the tape.
Songs like Most High and In Time have a churchy ambiance, while the outro Theresmoretolife brings an XXX TentacĂon / Nyck Caution combined vibe.
