[Single] Moneyface/2face - Eastside

Dejuan Penny and Roy Johnson aka Moneyface/2face are cousins born and raised on the tough streets of the Eastside of Detroit, although they came up separately. When the tragic death of Dejuan's mom, Jacqueline Pittmanat, it forced him to move in with his father Donald. Donald was very into music, he was a producer, singer, writer, engineer. and much more. Dejuan Penny AKA 2face from Studio to Studio started implementing different styles, such as; R&B, Rap, Gospel, and Rock which made him versatile and is the reason he chose the alias "2face". Roy Johnson aka Moneyface was raised by a single mother alongside his 4 older siblings, while his father, Roy Johnson Senior was incarcerated which hugely impacted his childhood. At the age of 13 he ventured off into music, rapping with his neighborhood friends and engaging in freestyle battles with different neighborhood rappers. At the age of 16 he was into car theft, drugs, and anything that could make money fast; although shortly after he graduated, he went to Wane State Community College for 2 years, yet his past did eventually catch up with him, landing in prison for 1 year. While incarcerated he started writing to make the days and the months go past fast, which was when he was released and realized rapping is where he belonged. Dejuan Penny and Roy Johnson were reacquainted by their older cousin and shortly after that it began Moneyface/2face was created, bringing with them a style that was like no other. They are smooth and rough, the versatility they bring is what makes them unstoppable. Checkout their track Eastside.
